ES7154 Stereo Audio DAC
Everest ES7154 stereo audio DAC with 16–24-bit I²S input, sampling up to 100 kHz and ground-centered 2 Vrms analog outputs.
Overview
The ES7154 converts I²S serial audio into two analog output channels. It accepts word lengths up to 24 bits and uses a multibit delta-sigma architecture. An integrated charge pump supports ground-centered 2 Vrms analog output from a 5 V supply.
Features
- I²S input with 16–24-bit audio words.
- Sampling frequencies up to 100 kHz.
- 102 dB SNR and -85 dB THD+N.
- Single supply from 4 to 5.25 V.
- Support for nonstandard audio clocks such as 25 or 26 MHz.
- SOIC-14 package and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Applications and integration
The manufacturer lists set-top boxes, digital televisions, OTT devices and DVD players. Review the clock mode, analog-output circuit, power sequencing and measurement conditions in the Revision 9.0 datasheet when integrating the DAC.
